The Tuesday Night SUPr race series is a 1.5 mile sprint from Seacrest Marina in West Seattle to the Duwamish Head Channel Marker. This unique race incorporates cold water Puget Sound with gire rips, boat wake, and wind waves. Fast paddlers will need to show their skill with balance, surf ability, and poise..
Every Tuesday Night we also incorporate a free SUP demo for people to try out the sport and different models of boards. We have 12-20 ppl per night, so it has been a good way for people to check it out.

Stand Up Paddleboards by Riviera coming to Alki Kayak Tours and Mountain to Sound Outfitters.
We had a chance to head out to Gasworks Park today and try the Riviera 10.6 and Nugg. Both great boards with enough buoyancy to have bigger paddlers try them out, without giving up the performance.
We will be stocking up the store with a variety of manufacturers, so come on out and give it a try!

Mission Ridge WWSRA Demo Day
This event rocks. Skiing the best conditions in washingon right now on 2010-2011 skis from the best in the industry. I am personally stoked on the Atomic Blog 177 and the Blizzard Answer today.
Atomic Blog 177 - Great in deep, carves fantastic. I usually ski a 186 but the 177 was super at speed. the reverse camber was what was needed not to go ass over teakettle in the pow.
Blizzard Answer 184- Wow, with a 28 m radius @186 I thought it wouldnt turn. That was a misnomer...ripped it all solid from hardpack to bumps and of course POW.
Volkl! We will be stocking skis from Volkl next year, and they are continuing to manufacture some of the best and innovative skis in the industry.
Volkl Bridge. WOW. With the skis getting fatter and fatter, it is good to see technology (early rise tip and tail) help a relatively narrow ski (92 mm in waist) just shred the deep pow. About 1' of fresh wind packed was effortless. Fantastic on the icy bumps as well. A great one quiver ski.
Tomorrow K2 and maybe Rossi? Head as well. Stay tuned for the reviews.
See comments from staff on other skis...

Un-Superbowl Pow Day
Today is a great day for skiers, as the masses tend to stay by the TV's and the slopes are open to shred.
Reports from our trip to Cascade Powder Cats yesterday was: "It was freakin' rad". North facing slopes are holding up well above 4000.
Crystal Mountain has also been "amazing" according to riders.
Here is a lil video of pow out Northway at Crystal. Riders Jason Stearns and Matt Newton.
